The Fellowship Program is a 4module (3 days each) course spread over 12 days across 5 months.It is aimed at exposing the participants through the 5 core concepts integral to education of fundamentals in Implant Dentistry:
1. Basic principles and clinical sciences of Implantology
2. Diagnosis and treatment planning
3. Surgical Protocol
4. Prosthetic Management
5. Maintenance phase in Implantology
The course is interspersed with live surgery, hands-on demonstrations and cadaver dissections. During thecourse, participants will be trained exclusively on implants, abutments & surgical kits with innovative restorativeand aesthetic dental solutions.


Guidelines of the course

1. Each candidate will be allowed to place 5 dental implants(various system) in the patients provided to them from the BOCI. Which will be part of course with 4 unit of crowns.
2. Deligates can bring their own patients during the course period only.
3. Charges will be applied for extra implants and crowns.

Module 1: BASIC ANATOMY & TREATMENT PLANNING

Day 01

Morning Session

LECTURES

  • 1. Introduction to Dental implantalogy.
  • 2. Basic anatomy, bone biology pertaining to dental implants.
  • 3. Prosthodontically driven treatment planning.
Afternoon Session


  • 1. Radiographic imageing in dental implantlogy.
  • 2. Detailed explaination of CBCT planning followed by Hands on training in CBCT planning and also on few navigation systems like Nobel clinician, Romexis etc.

Day 02

Morning Session

  • 1. Osseointegration and its application in dental implants.
  • 2. Flaps and suturing technques andrelated surgical protocols for Dental Implantalogy.
Afternoon Session

    Hands on

  • 1. Various flap designs and various suturing techique-demostration followed by hands on foam and maccantosh materials and also on goat tongue.

Day 03

  • 1. Demonstration of surgical kit , physiodispensor.

Day 03

  • 2. Sinus lift and other advance procedures in bone augmentation.

  • 1. Hands on - Sinus lift and various method of hard and soft tissue augmentation in goat head.
  • 2. Use of sinus lift instrument, piezo surgical kit.

Module 4 : Prosthetics Phase / Maintenance
